Béatrice Machet # 13 ETRE ELASTIQUE (to be elastic)

Béatrice Machet # 13     Etre élastique    after Kit Kelen’s second painting and Dominique Hecq’s #9

https://conversationinpoetry.blogspot.fr/2018/03/kit-kelen-thinking-of-odveig-klyves.html

"une onde de choc

      l'enfant

           enseveli par les flots"

être élastique
pouvoir aller loin                  et revenir
même place même contour
comme si forme en son dedans
était lieu de mémoire
quand dehors on se voudrait :
rien que lisse enveloppe

to be elastic
being able to go far away                  and back
same place same outline
as if shape in its inside
was site of memory
when outside one would like to be:
a mere smooth envelope and nothing but

there will be no removal of the force
it’s an original spring
call it life                     call it energy
call it heartache when ebbing
just a dance to step in
or out
provided it gives : intensity

                                                              Exquivalence

as if incarné
                      meant fulfilled … without heaviness
something raw you savour without having to trust or something you trust without having to draw

an oyster slipping down your swollen
throat that intuitions and gathers breath
when sense has lost all voice

and a sigh    clears through
incipient life always
                        where
death has been sown
as if palabras
                       meant tuned … without lying

something intimate that you breathe without thinking or think without feeling
a melody that walzes inside your swathed
tongue that wrings itself free and scatters
when perdigóns and postillons are palomas de la paz
essences of existence as you would say essence or Seiendes
in a caress existents discovering itself
not accounting
            for the time it takes
            to express
nor the time it takes silence to land

like a will-o’-the-wisp fluttering in a night bristling with dew
… we’ll meet love-making edges sleepers of unmeeting endings…

Anne Kellas #3 Stray poem, after reading Dominique Hecq #8 Transformations

STRAY POEM
after reading Dominique Hecq’s Transformations
https://conversationinpoetry.blogspot.com.au/2018/03/dominique-hecq-8-transformations.html

Lost poem.
Intaglio’d. Code.

Poem
Rigged as a sail. Stretched onto canvas.

A dandelion, wheeling through the air
On its hollow-trellised spokes.

Daisy bells
In the wayward grass.

Medieval may-day dance flags.
A child’s garden posie.

In black earth, the grail-shaped husks
Of poppy: the forbidden, red-lipped kind,

Black centred.
Seeds of sweetpeas from a friend

Shaken from their heritage brown paper packet
Sprout in the greenhouse, arrows pointing skyward

In defiance of mushroom clouds, Putin,
And the rest of them.

The child is counting hours
on a daisy-petal wheel.

She’s lost in book knowledge,
among paint brushes.

Learning to place colour
in order on a palette.

What else matters?
The innocence of children.

Melinda Smith #4 Like I’m elated - after Toby Fitch #1 Feel Like I'm Somehow Related to Everyone on the Internet

First, a pic of the erasure as I would print it (click to get a better view):

Now, a lineated version in text for you to read / copy / manipulate:

Like I’m elated

as long as I can remember
The sky’s brought here by aliens
shitstorms going on

I am outraged
I can
Crush
you
all the way down

Move!

it’s been raining 9 days straight
an automated replay

When you
gonna straighten out all
the
dead

the government
bubble
White
& non-ironic
on all platforms
for the next 500 years

The sky
& the moon
both
ways

like I’m everywhere / elated

Odveig Klyve # 2 After Ali Jane Smith – Steel Blues After Béatrice Machet # 12 STEEL GRAY--Gris acier

Blue, gray, white,
all these colours of cold
telling us what we miss,
what we wait for.
This strong cold
carries our sorrows
into the frozen lake,
to slowly thaw
by a humming
spring.

Blått, grått, kvitt
alle desse kuldens fargar
som seier oss kva vi saknar
kva vi ventar på.
Denne sterke kulden
ber sorgene våre
til den frosne sjøen
så dei kan tinast
av ein nynnande
vår.

Ali Jane Smith – Steel Blues

After Béatrice Machet # 12 STEEL GRAY--Gris acier

steel gray
your brain goes wild
on the phone to washington
while making the useless argument
for tariff exemption
some neurones are speaking and listening
others have got together
to distract themselves with the time step
your mother was right
tap lessons come in handy
at times of stress
if you tap you'll need to sing
                                                                      shuffle off to buffalo
sounded good
I didn't know buffalo upstate NY
meant marriage and everything dull
a steady job, dishcloths, all that
stomp

the president made assurances
hop step

in front of witnesses
flap

but can I say this
ball change

hop step
flap
